Triangle presents a screening and live film performance of Jonnie in the Lake and End of the Day, End of the Day by artist Frances Barth.  

In Jonnie in the Lake (2016), 9-year-old Jonnie travels to an underwater city and meets his new friend Azimer, a former downtown performance artist. This animation is hand drawn and based on an original script by Frances Barth, with voice over by Ron Nakahara, David Asta and Frances Barth, and includes rotoscoped video performance by Valerie Charles.

A 2018 remastered version of End of the Day, End of the Day (2007) will be accompanied by a live theatrical reading of the film, directed by Ron Nakahara. End of the Day, End of the Day is set just after 9/11 and involves a two day evening commute of a husband and wife. Combining hand drawn and digital animation, Barth explores aspects of traditional animation and the graphic novel.
