Triangle Friends
Curator and critic Karen Wilkin and artist Jill Nathanson run Triangle Friends to help support Triangle Arts Association.
Through focused museum tours and other activities led by celebrated museum curators, art historians, and artists, Friends get an insider's view of art, from the studio to the museum. All Friends membership dues support the Triangle Arts Association residency, a Brooklyn-based non-profit which has offered free studio space to local and international artists since 1982. We hope to continue to build our community of educated and engaged Friends who understand that supporting artists and their need for the working studio space that Triangle provides is a profound and essential way to make a difference for rising artists. Without spaces like Triangle’s in which artists can think and work, there would be no museum or gallery exhibitions. And without the Triangle Friends, there would be no Triangle.
