Triangle Workshop
Our founding program, the Triangle Artists’ Workshop, is an intensive two-week residency program founded by artist Anthony Caro over three decades ago. The Workshop began in 1982 by bringing international and U.S.-based artists into the New York countryside to work intensely together for two weeks. Twenty-five artists from around the globe work side-by-side, eat meals together, and tirelessly exchange ideas. The workshop is known for its intensity of dialogue and the unique artistic community it generates.
The program provides studio space with 24-hour access as well as full two weeks’ accommodation and meals for all participating artists. Visits from artists, curators, and critics, outings to nearby cultural institutions, and public events are organized. Triangle’s most recent Workshop took place from August 23–September 6, 2015, at Salem Art Works in upstate New York. Sign up for our mailing list below for updates on any upcoming workshops.
