“Take, Took,Taken”

A group exhibition of works by residents from Clermont Ferrand School of Fine Arts (ESACM): Célestine Münch, Danaé Seigneur, Eden Lebegue, Johan Aboubacar-Danglar and Nino Spanu,

For the month of August, students from the Clermont Ferrand School of Fine Arts (ESACM) utilized Triangle as an international site of artistic learning and exchange. The group’s residency will culminate in a group exhibition at Governors Island on view September 3-4, open hours 11-5pm. 

ESACM is located in the center of France and runs a unique nomadic program abroad for its MFA candidates. As part of their formal education, these students move between cities, allowing them to experience a larger, global ecosystem of contemporary art and culture. The students attending the program are Célestine Münch, Danaé Seigneur, Eden Lebegue, Johan Aboubacar-Danglar. Their mentor is artist Nino Spanu, a recent graduate of ESACM.
